Sweet Tomatoes in Altamonte Springs

This is kind of an interesting place for me to share my story.Well I forgot I used to eat consistently there 5 years ago at least once a month.They have every lettuce and every vegetable, everything to make the perfect salad they have a variety of dressings.They have seven to eight hot soups they've got cornbread, French cheesy bread they've got a brownie the ice cream machine this is a buffet.Lettuce and vegetables are lettuce and vegetables. Toppings they're still pretty much standard.The only thing that I find not matching the selection is the flavor or taste of their dressings that in my opinion is the only place not equal to give it a five star the

OMG so enjoyable after a tough day of travel! I wish we had one in our home state. Very veggie/gluten friendly - everything is clearly marked. Salads were fresh, soups were hot and everything was delicious. We went last night and might go again tonight since we're traveling.

Good vegan options. Healthy. Kind. Fairly clean. Food replaced fairly often. Consistent.

I LOVE sweet tomatoes! They have a good selection but I would have like a little more variation in some beverage choices. The pasta was amazing as usual and the brownies are always a great idea. The ice cream was smooth and they had quite a few options for toppings! The area was clean and staff was SUPER NICE even the manager was out with a smile and helping his employees which is amazing. Keep it up Sweet Tomatoes!

Got here 20min before closing on a Wednesday due to airline delays. Still, the entire bar was still fully stocked as were the soup, pasta, bread and dessert bars. The staff was very friendly and attentive; the manager kindly stopped by to ensure I was finished, and that both the other couple in the restaurant and I were ok with his staff breaking down the soups, desserts and other parts. Very clean and well kept ST. I'll be back.

Salad bar is great always has fresh lettuse and toppings. Soups are real good as well.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. Its a Buffet and it has amazing varieties of salads and other things. The best place to go if your on a diet.

A good place that combines salads, pasta, soups, bakery and pizzas. Designed to try a little of everything. Salads are fresh, pasta is at its point with interesting combinations. They have a variety of toppings and sauces. My favorite soup was that of Mushrooms, I recommend it. Among the desserts it was a delicious discovery to try the Red Veltvet Lava ... It was fresh out of the oven!Excellent Costumer Service!

We have been going there for years. This place use to be great however that was not the case the night we went. The soups were room temperature & bland. The bread was cold and all of the pastas had obviously been out for a while & were cold too. When asked if they could reheat the pasta or remake it, the cook turned the burner up and added a bit of water. No flavor after that "fix" and just gross. For the money we spent it was a waste. Would have asked for the manager but the only employee we could find was the cook. The server was busy busing tables and no cashier to be seen. Let me also add that there were only about 12 tables w/parties of 2 or 3. Very disappointed.

Good food. Healthy green options, deserts are great, great variety. Would recommend.

Would've loved it but too crowded! That alone says it all. The food and service were excellent. The salads were fresh and delicious. They had difficulty keeping potatoes available because of how delicious they were. The soup! Oh my goodness; I could've made myself sick if I had no self control. I highly recommend a visit or twenty. LOL

I love coming here with family or even by myself. Friendly staff and delicious, health but not in an off-putting sort of way, reasonably priced food. C:

We really like Sweet tomatoes and visit on a monthly basis especially when we get email discounts. They often change their soup variety, you can make your own salads and the muffins are so good. Even though the salad bar could use more additional choices like boiled eggs, spinach and hummus, they do provide a make your own ice cream cone or cup or yummy muffins. We still come out full and satisfied every time we eat here. However, I think the dishes, cups and utensils should be double washed and rinsed. I often find some dirty at every visit and I have to keep looking for a clean one. Gross!! I think we'll start bringing our own to eat with. That's the only reason why I didn't give them 5 stars.

As always, the service and staff was excellent. The food is fresh, and their blueberry muffins are delicious and unbeatable. If I could I would eat there everyday, since I'm addicted to the salad options and their house made honey butter. I highly recommend this place, and the one in Altamonte Springs. The atmosphere is family -friendly, and there is something for everyone.

The broccoli salad is my favorite. I like all the fresh salad items are regularly refreshed. Good choices in soup. Warm bread. Meh pasts but there is something for almost everyone.

Sweet is an understatement. Good food and prices. Friendly atmosphere. Good place meet friends for a catchup.

We always love the huge variety of fresh salad! Ok, I also love to have a hot brownie under chocolate ice cream for dessert also!

Once again we were not disappointed, clean, fresh food. And it is not our first time at Sweet Tomatoes. We tried other establishment of this brand in different parts of the city.

Used to be a great place. But last time I went I noticed cockroaches by the food. & some of the salads were hot. Instantly lost my appetite & politely asked for a refund & left. Unfortunately I dont think I'll be going back unless I hear they've got it fixed up & properly taken care of..

Excellent experience with an exceptionally friendly staff. I came in an hour before closing, and the food bar was fully stocked. All of my interactions with the staff were very friendly, and even though I was there late, I definitely felt welcomed and like my business was appreciated.

Sweet Tomatoes is a bright and cheerful place to eat a mostly healthy meal. The staff is very friendly . They do a great job in making sure tables are cleared for your seconds and third —😬even fourth trip back through the buffet. The salad bar is also kept clean as patrons graze through. The soups are made from scratch. I tried both the French onion and Kettle chili, both were hot and yummy. Russet and sweet potatoes are offered. The cheesy garlic bread was scrumptious. The theme of this salad establishment is carried through even to the carpeting which has a tomato on vine design. The men’s bathroom was clean on this visit. Clean bathrooms tell a lot about the overall care of the entire place. The fruit bar offers a limited selection, yet interestingly chocolate mousse makes its home here 🤣. Great place to create your own salad. Fresh soups, breads, pizza, pasta and desserts. Even has delivery. Clean, reasonable and friendly.

Salad buffett with pasta and bread sides and soup offerings where you can load up on the not so guilty pleasures like tasty salad or chili or you can tap in to your wild side a bit more and finish off with a little twist ice cream cone. Definitely worth a visit to try out.

What's not to like?! All you can eat salad, baked potato, soup, pizza bread, pasta, ice cream for the kids (and adults). Personal favorite soup... Chunky chicken noodle, but also have chili, and several other soups. Also kids and senior prices.

It's over an hour to visit Sweet Tomatoes so we always make sure to go when we are in the Orlando area. I love the great salad bar and the many options available in salad, soup, and breads. The strawberry lemonade is one of the best I've tasted. Our most recent visit they were very busy but did a great job of keeping things filled and fresh. A great place for an easy lunch or dinner.

They usually have a pretty good selection of food out on the buffet and they arw great at keeping it full.

....I really wanted to like this place but every time I go the lettuce has been limp or just kinda...old. Granted, I've went later in the evening so maybe it was just out for a while and I missed prime time but c'mon. The hot food is nice and all but the main attraction should be the salad. Even the cherry tomatoes had kinda...moved on. This may be a great place for lunch though.

Love this place, the food is amazing and the staff is awesome and polite. Make sure you go to the all you can eat soup and salad place. Very fair price.

One of the better Sweet Tomatoes locations in town. They do a great job of keeping items fresh and available. Staff also picks up plates from your table without letting them pile up, very attentive!

Delicious healthy foods including a wide variety of salad options and warm, tasty bakery items (blueberry muffins A++). Several soups and chili, too. Servers & hostess were friendly and helpfully efficient. A terrific value.

I really only have one reason for going to Sweet Tomatoes and that's the chicken noodle soup. Unfortunately, 75 percent of the time there is no chicken in the soup. They won't replenish the soup because there is still plenty of broth in the pot. Other than that, it's just an overpriced salad buffet.

very friendly and active staff, good food for a buffet, and at a decent price. 8 or so different soups weekly along with 3 pastas, some fruit, ice cream, potatoes, pizza, etc. Great place if you full like eating an entire cow in one sitting.

Love this place there food is yummy and healthy for you. There ceasar salad is my favorite as well as there clam chowder if you haven't been before I highly suggest you give them a try.

I am so sad to see this restaurant close. The selection was always fresh,the place was always clean, the staff was always friendly. I'll miss this place.

Salad, soup, bread, potatoes, rice, pasta, fruit, & desserts. You won't leave hungry! Some of the soups are amazing, too. Nice & hearty. What I love is how easily it fits into your diet. They list main ingredients & calorie counts, so you know what you're eating. It's a great place for lunch or dinner...or a lunch that makes you too full for dinner. 🤭 Plus they have a "box & go" deal where you can load up containers at the buffet & eat elsewhere. We love eating here!

Sweet Tomatoes is my favorite restaurant in Orlando. They have 3 locations. 55 foot long salad bar, all you can eat. They make 7 soups from scratch every day. They offer baked potatoes, baked sweet potatoes, home made breads, flocatti cheese flat breads, 3 kinds of pasta, soft serve ice cream, coffee, tea and stawberry lemonade to die for. Lunch is usually around $9/person, supper a little more. But its the best salad buffet you'll find anywhere.

You aren't dining are a Michelin rated place in paris but you're going to enjoy your salad and most of the other available choices. Stop in and enjoy 👍

We are pretty regular customers...good food at good price including frozen yogurt or chocolate mousse desserts, lovely staff, plenty of parking and the best cream of mushroom soup bar none!

We often find ourselves driving across town for this Sweet Tomatoes. One of the best salad bar restaurants I have ever known.

Sweet tomatoes is our go to for a good meal. If you don't like soup and salad, then this is definitely not the place for you. We are soup and salad lovers. They keep the food well stocked and the restaurant is run well.

Don't miss out on take out from Sweet Tomatoes. @ me if you got a question. 5 Star review and service on 12/16 from the cashier @2:30-2:45pm and the bakery girl within the same time frame. Review from a regular moe. Don't sleep.
